Hey guys...remember the game of the month?

I know some of you do.
And I know that it was a pretty rad little feature to have on this here place of things that we call Charas.

Thing is, at times it was hard to find a project that met the requirements every month. However, its been just over a year now, since we last had a feature project.
We can rebuild it. Better...faster...stronger.
 
I think we could broaden the scope of this a bit too...to make it even more kickass. RM projects are all good...but so are all things creative.

If you have any nominations for things that should/could be featured here on the main page to show the world that we do in fact, on occasion, do stuff around here, then send em on down. Feel free to drop some suggestions to help make this monthly feature even better.

In the mean time why not check out the sprite off

Let's see...the community game, kyoob, the .hack game Fortet is doing, your's, The Adventure, and I'm pretty sure there's a couple more.
So that makes...5 at this precise moment?

Charas isnt known for finishing game gemini, if we had more finished projects I wouldn't doubt this so much.

THe last game of the month was featured in June of 08



Also, by expanding it to Creative things in general, everybody with a gallery ( http://www.charas-project.net/forum/index.php?board=6.0 ) could potentially be featured as well.

The Game of the month fizzled out last year on account of my own inability to keep the feature running...it wasnt a result of lack of material.
Not to mention, it was never restricted to RM2k3 in the first place.

Like I said, lets keep this thread for discussing valid ideas and suggestions here. If you want to start a thread about being Embittered toward the community for your own personal resons, feel free.

 I have no intrest in debating the validity of keeping the mainpage up do date.




EDIT:

   Just so its clear, nominated projects dont need to be a complete Game.
If it IS a game youre submitting, try and make sure it has a project thread and an actual working demo.

Plus I am actually working on something, and I hope to have a demo in a few days. I just need two things from two different people to have a complete demo.
Fish also has a little thing he is working on, on the side. I know he has the majority of the plot thought up, the main characters, systems, and various other things done.
