FIFA World Cup 2010
« on: June 02, 2010, 11:46:05 AM »
With less that 10 days away, who's ready?

I am not really a soccer fan, but this is my 3rd World Cup watching, and it's an awesome feeling cheering and going thru the emotions of the games; at least these games.

The teams I will follow are : Mexico, U.S., and Japan, same as last year. With Mexico being my nation of preference, although trully, we're not gonna get anywhere.

So, are you guys into soccer at all? Or you don't like soccer like me, but finds this event made every four years awesome?

i am actually pre-tty excited.

I don't like most sports. I don't hate 'em, either, but I don't like 'em. Soccer is one of them.

Hockey gets a thumbs-up, though. ****'s tight.

Canada's never in it, so i usually just cheer for Korea since that's what most of my friends do. To be honest, though, I never watch soccer until World Cup. (Kind of like I rarely watch Hockey unless it's the Olympics)

I don't like soccer. Or any sport for that matter. Even Hockey. And sports make people retarded. Events such as fans destroying things because their team lost/won are good examples.
I don't like sport.

I don't like sport.

That happens for everything though. Just last week, I made  guy break his xbox 360 remote.

True, but sports tend to make a huge number of people retarded.
I don't mind a guy breaking his Xbox remote because he failed his head shot and was knifed in the face, but people destroying cars, burning anything, stealing stuff, etc. because their teams lost... or even won?
Yeah.

Scale is unrelated. All it matter is the technique of destruction and it's relevance to  the cause. It the cause is little so is the destruction if the cause is greater there will be more. For this I called an specialist, Michael the friednly lizard.

The only thing I know about this is what I saw from the Colbert Report. The US has little interest in soccer and probably even less a chance of winning. But we do have the power to ruin our allies' chance of winning, particularly England's, and screwing over your friends is just hilarious. That poor goalie.

I must say, either every team is sucking this time around, or a lot of teams have gotten better. Other than Germany and today's Uruguay match, it's been either ties or wins by one goal.
