Well, the point's kind of moot since they always have ****ing ads in their signature that make them instantly identifiable and if those aren't present, that kind of defeats their purpose, now doesn't it?

So are we still using the "what color is this page" method of blocking bots that they literally have a 1 in 4 chance of guessing right on the first try?

It has never been a big deal for me. When I first joined charas, I had a dial up connection and used that for a couple of years. When I upgraded to cable internet, the rest of the internet got faster, and charas just stayed the same. >.<

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

I'm starting to think that bots may be cause for some of the 503s.
Too many of 'em trying to sign up at once.
Maybe we should go to one of those big bot IP lists and start IP banning them?
