Microbrews all the way. Bud, Coors, Corona, Keystone, Natty ice, Michelob... they all suck hard. Up where I live, we've got some awesome microbrews. Not just Sam Adams, though they've got some good beers, but local Vermont and Massachusetts beers that are to die for.

Someone understands. Too bad showing your post at work won't help people convince them of anything. Sadly this is the same reason why i don't like making any new friends. Trust issues aside, I always think know I am going to move on and forget people. Which I do; I was trying to remember my High school's teachers and college's instructors names and I got nothing. Some of the faces aren't even there anymore. That also might just be bad memory. But still. Nostalgia brings it all together.

I'm told beer is an acquired taste but honestly I'd rather drink things that I can enjoy from the get go. Bourbon all the way. Hell, I'd choose straight vodka over beer.

While I respect that you have your own tastes and preferences, I think that if you find spirits to be a more acceptable taste than beer, that's unusual. What kind of beers are you drinking? American "beers" are notoriously awful and the rest of the world is laughing at you, get some proper ale in you son.

Still, to each their own. I drink ale like frigging Gimli but vodka is like drinking fire.

Yeah, I've been meaning to take a look at actual beers, rather than the awful "Piss in a can" **** we have.
Going to have to wait a couple years, though, so I can actually go out to bars.

Uh, Australian beers are all I've drank. No idea where they stand in terms of quality. And yeah, Vodka is pretty awful until you have a few shots to get over the taste.

The only alcoholic beverages I can sort of tolerate are things like Piņa Colada, and even then, it needs to not taste alcohol at all.

Beer is the most disgusting thing I've ever drank, followed by wine and liqueur and other alcoholic beverages.

In other words, I hate the taste of alcohol. Good thing, though. This way you don't see me posting things on Charas while under the influence of something because I'd clearly have nothing better to do.
