Charas New York Meetup

August 1st - 4th works great for me. I may end up flying in a day or two early since the plane tickets on Wednesdays and Thursdays are usually cheaper than Friday tickets. If anyone else wants to come a bit earlier we can chill until the rest of the group arrives.

I mentioned it on the first page of the topic, but my conference starts the 5th.  So I'd be able to go during Lucas's last few days in the states.

Well I suppose if we ALL knew each other's faces, it wouldn't be quite the same. Thus far the only face I know is Lucas's (through facebook). Archem, I guess I'll always picture you as your pixelated Minecraft avatar haha.

In all seriousness though, it seems like many of us are pretty serious about this meetup. We should try to finalize a date and time for this.

Edit: Is this thread enough, or should we start a facebook group or something with event details and a time/date to collaborate with?

Yeah for sure. This weekend turned out to be pretty busy, so I haven't gotten around to making it yet.

So.. Since I don't want to create a public event that anyone can see and join, I created a private event. The issue is that I have to personally invite people for them to see the group, and I'm only facebook friends with Lucas.

If you guys still want to go ahead with a facebook event to organize the place/time, you'll have to shoot me a friend request (https://www.facebook.com/mziegs), message me with your charas username, and I'll pass the invite along to you. Let me know if you guys would like to handle this some other way.
