As for a story, how bout a vamp story? Yeah, that'd be good. A vamp story that takes place in a barren future-world where civilisation lives on scraps of the past. Two sentient races exist, and are in constant conflict: humans, and vampires

But not vampires as you know them. Think of it like this: Only the "Queen" vamp (Devina) can change a human into a vampire. But she keeps this secret.
When a human is changed, he/she forgets everything from his/her human life. That way, no vampires, exept the "Queen" and her "Knights" (Who bring her her prey) know that vampires used to be humans. The average vamp life expectancy is 35, except for queens, who live for about 80 years.
Vamps believe that this is because they are blessed by the gods.

But this story centers on one vamp, Richard, who is out on a hunt. He finds a woman with a child, but for some reason, he can't kill her. That night he has dreams of a past life, until he finally remembers that he was once a human.
He becomes the first vampire to know the truth.

Thinking something is deathly wrong, he goes mad with fear of these memories. He remembers that he was a husband, to that woman he saw, and that the boy was his son. Yet how could this be true?
He tries to tell his close friends and police, but they ignore him.
Until a man finds him. This man is a 62-year-old vampire, named Bernard.
He takes Richard to his hideout and explains that vamps were all once humans, that the Queen changes them, and has video evidence to back it up.

Bernard explains that the Queen Devina wants to kill him because he knows the secret, and that she will kill Richard too.
Which brings him to the nature of queens. Queens are different creatures to most vampires. She is pure, she contains no human blood.
This means she is the only one who can drink blood safely. That is why most vamps live for only 35 years. Blood kills them, and she doesn't what them to know. And why not? She is seen as a blessed leader and mother of vampires.

The rest is based around how Richard reveals the truth of vampires to the people, how he reveal humans and vamps are really no different, and him rejoining his family.

Of course, "Richard" and "Bernard" are optional, charas members can be cast as these, or royal Knights, friends of Richard's, his family, humans and even the Queen.
