The brush and pen are marvelous inventions, much more so than the camera. The camera puts fine art in the hands of the inexperienced. What did you do to create those fine colors in that photo? Nothing. You pushed a button, that's all. That's not skill.
You might say that setting up the shot takes skill. Well guess what: Painting that spot is even harder. All the same rules apply. You don't get to have the colors chosen for you. You gotta work for it. Nothing gets done without some work. Don't believe me? That's your loss. Your opinion will change when you're living in a box outside the local Arby's.

I didn't say anything about art sucking. I agree with you that cameras are a easy way to say your artistic.
