I have a new game that I am making, entitled "Vengeance Quest"

It is about a fighter out for vengeance against the man who destroyed his town. But as he quests, he discovers other villains, and a secret that could destroy the world.

Characters:

Blane
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Hometown: Danias
Bio: A fighter whose town is destroyed by a man named Darcus. He is on a quest for revenge.

Iral
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Hometown: Arlos
Bio: A young mage whose town was also destroyed by Darcus. He is trying to avoid being captured by Darcus.

Mung
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Hometown: Noctal
Bio: A fighter who lost his parents in a fire 10 years ago.

Tissa
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Hometown: Refun
Bio: A girl who is training to become a fighter. She wants to make an image for herself.


I know that there are only four PC's, but I already have had trouble doing a lot of development for them.

Magic System:
I have a spell system using scrolls. You use a scroll in battle to cast magic. After a character has used the spell a certain number of times, they permanently learn the spell.

For example:
If Iral uses 5 Ice scrolls, he learns Ice.

Some characters can only learn certain spells or skills.


If anyone wants to help with graphics or music, they are welcome to help.

Aww comon, if you say you hate it, you should at least be kind enough to say why you hate it. :D

Anyway, stories where the whole thing is about revenge usually dont turn out good. I usually have nothing against things that are cliche, but this just may have crossed the line a bit. A thing that would help you out a lot may be if when you describe your game, try to give a little more info, and try to keep the parts about revenge to a minimum.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Vengeance is not the central theme, it is merely what drives the story to get it going. Fear is more of a central theme.

Mung's name will be changed, but I would like some ideas.

The game is divided into three acts.

More story:
A sub-villain, Morse, proves to be very pesky, as well as threatening.
There are gems (all activated in the first act), but the secret they unlock is far different and is not revealed until long after they have been activated. It sounds like a cliche, but I am trying hard to avoid too much of it.
Nekido, a town with somewhat advanced technology, is a very important town in the game, switching from good (Act 1), to evil (Act 2), to good (Act 3).

There are "Limit breaks" called Adrenaline in this game.

I hope now it seems a little better. (I doubt it.)

   Another name idea: Ivan. I know it's actually a real name, and it makes me think of a big, burly Russian guy, but it's just an idea. "Chamber of the Gem" actually sounds pretty good.
