I agree about the RTP charsets and stuff, and I'm planning to change that stuff to a different style, don't worry. And about the maps, I agree once again. It really depends on how much help I'm going to get. If I don't get any, this won't even be done by 2006.

just1question:
PalmerX is busy on the FF1 battle system if I'm correct.

Dragonium:
Actually, I already installed that font on my computer.

Nothing too harsh, he's just saying what he thinks about it.

Hmm.... No, I've already done a title, and I won't need a gameover.

well, i don't know when you started in 2003 with your game, but we write 2005 by now and this is 2 years, not 1.
and if you were a newbie at this time, i would spend more time with learning how to make a real good game, not to start a game directly. of course i also made a game when i was a newbie and this was only with rtp. today i might finish a game like this was in one day, but soon i realized, that such a game would never be accepted by the ones who play rpgs, so i learned and learned and learned until i got the knowledge how to use the different functions of the rpg maker.

if you need help with technical stuff, ask me, if you want. i think i'm good enough at this to help you. you also can do it with tutorials. that helped me too.

To be honest, I removed the storyline from the first post in this thread because it took too much place.

August: No progress.
September: No progress.
October: Started on a map-teleporting menu system.
November: Perfections on the menu system, first version of the intro.
December: Perfections on the menu system, new inspiration found for the intro.

2004:
January: Menu system lost due to broken map tree. Beginning recreation of the game.
February: Found some chipsets and monsters.
March: Not much that needs to be mentioned.
April: Not much that needs to be mentioned.
May: I actually started on the first system graphic for LOF.
June: Edited the system graphic a bit, not much further progress.
July: Split the system graphic into 4 colours.
August: Not much progress.
September: Not much progress.
October: Started on a decent boss theme.
November: Not much progress.
December: Did the first progress on the title screen, cleaned the game folders up of things I didn't need.

2005:
January: Edited the system graphic and title screen.
February: Perfected the title screen, not much more information until now.

Hey, RPG LORD, if you need any charsets, just ask, except for poses, because for some reason, I am cursed with them.

SleepAid: I'm sorry but I practically don't need a Game Over for the game.

wildguy3922: I'd be honoured to have your help, but I'd also need someone for the poses. In any case I can still try to do the poses myself or find someone to do them.

It depends on when I'm going to get that ruddy CBS if PalmerX's going to finish that. In the meanwhile, I'm waiting and creating music for the game, and ripping/making/editing some graphics that I might use.
