Alright, it might be a little early for me to be posting this, but I'm preatty sure this game is going all the way. Okay, it's based loosely around a movie I made about a year ago. The movie was called Snow Wars and it was about a battle between men and evil snowmen who were bent on the destruction of mankind. Anyways, the good guys win and the snowmen go away. This game takes place 2000 years after the Snow Wars. The snowmen have come back and are trying to finish what they started 2000 years ago. The humans are caught completely off guard. But two (maybe more, I haven't decided yet) people stand up to fight against these monsters. Equiped with nothing but pistols and a burning desire to kill snowmen, these two go out to stop the evil.

Anyways, that's the story in a nut shell. I hope to get screen shots up soon. And I'm working on the website too. I already have all the coding   done. All that's left is to piece it together. If you didn't read the subtitle, it's got a custom ABS that I am proud to say, I designed myself. (Takes a minute to bask in his own glory.... what a loser!) You progress through the game level by level. So far there are two playable characters. That's all I have to say now. I'm planning to release a demo when I finish level 4. Right now, I'm working on the 2nd level. Hope you like the idea.

Your game sounds very original and very sci-fi-ish.
YOur own ABS huh? Don't delay on the screenshots!

That does look quite good. Not overly complicated, but not under-coded either. I give the ABS a 4/5 from what I see.

Not crazy about the story, but it is pretty original for an RM2K3 game.

The only thing that lets it down, I think.... Is that the snowmen... are ACTUAL snowmen... Somehow balls of now rolling around doesn't seem too intimidating. If I am wrong bout this, plz tell...

Either than, looks like it's nice going.

Yeah it may look a bit better if the snowmen looked a bit more "evil". Anyway the game sounds great so far :D. Can't wait to play it.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Great!
Nice to see somebody making a humourous game that could seem like a normal game (if you get over the evil snowmen).

I think you should leave the snowmen the way they are.
You know.... that innocent look could totally catch some people off guard.

BTW: Snowmen without snow?!? Add some snow in there, 'cuz IMO snowmen die without that cold chill of snow. Add some realism!

Okay, I haven't been on Charas in awhile and the questions have piled up. Better get started then:

1. Yes the snowmen are cheery and happy, but I couldn't find any mean looking snomen, and I suck at making character sets. I did make the boss on the first level look mean, if that helps at all.

2. As for where I found the coding, I designed it myself. I have the Project that I made it with still, if you want I can get a copy on my site.

3. I am using RM2k3

4. There is snow, you just can't see it in that picture. The second level is a large city, but there are some areas that still have some trees and grass with snow on them

I'd also like to add (though it's not important) the first screen was of a test of level two, so it's a little lighter looking and there is no snow falling.

I'd also like to post another screen shot. This is Part 2 of Level 1, you have to cross the forrest to get to the city so you can meet up with your friend.

pretty nice. This game looks like it'll be fun!
I think I just might like to blow up some good old round snowmen with a shotgun anyways! :p
