One of the greatst game I've ever play is FF7. Although ff6 was really good too.

But where's the other games??!!!

Then play Tactics ASAP.
It has a brilliant storyline, aswell as an appearance of Cloud and Aeris :)

FF7 is everyones favorite just because it was the 1st and best of its kind. I garuntee if it came out today with all our Halo 2s and San Andreases, no one would give it a second thought.

i played ff7 such a long time ago, and i still haven't beaten the emrald weapon or ruby. Maybe it's because i suck at rpgs or because i haven't played in a while. But if it came out today, I'd get it and play it. Compared to the FFs of the late, it tops them; still.

One of the reasons that FF7 was the best was because it was the first Final Fantasy with FMVs.
