If you read the few pages i have posted of my comic you know this guy:

It's Vahn Aria from Aria in a slightly different look, this one took lots of cleaning, for it was drawn a very long time ago, I've been drawing Vahn for a while and I've just now finally put him a a comic.

but anyways....

EDIT: oh yeah that's my very first attempt at making a 2D abstract background, is it anygood

i did finished the first chapter of Aria. check it out, also i'll be taking small requests

Hey i just recently got back from the Latin forum at Dreher High School
Here's a recap:
-Good-
My School (Wando) won overall it's a threepeat
A representative from school was voted president of the SCJCL (basically the latin club branch for South Carolina.) so the next year forum will be at my school.
I placed fourth in a test on mottoes and abbreviations and such (i only studied for about 30 min)
I had a subway veggie sub. it's better than turkey.
-Bad-
I entered two peices of art work:
an ink drawing of a classical soldier standing with a shield and sword
ARIA chapter 1. which is what I was working on this whole time.

Now this is the thing that makes it bad. When your a judge aren't you supposed to JUDGE the art work. Now if I'm not mistaken, Judge are supposed to judge everything. guess what wasn't even touched? MY stuff. I checked (I was anxious all day). Now the ink drawing wasn't looked at because it was in a folder, I was told. Isn't this why humans have thumbs? to pick up things and an utilize tools and such. I wouldn't even be talking if it had lost outright but they didn't even critique it and the judging was already over.

Now about Aria: they didn't even look at the WHOLE illustrated book section. wtf are theythere for if not to judge everything?

Why do people rush so much? I think society as a whole needs to slow the hell down, stop and smell the roses a lil bit, ya know?.
