It's freeware, works on Windows XP, uses MIDI music, has a built in tile editor and many other things. It is continually being worked on so expect another update this year.

It's a little hard to understand for some, so they have readmes and stuff for it.

lol, well I love ZC because it is pretty close to the original Zelda for the NES, but better in the sense it has a larger palette due to it being PC and that it uses midis which I believe are superior to the NES music.

I've tried ZC, but I have 1 question about it.
how do you change the graphics to snes/gameboy types ,as the game that it comes with has them
