This game is gonna rock! Years have I waited for a game where all you do is kill kill kill! What? GTA is like that? YEAH WELL GTA ISN'T (prepare yourself for this) A SIDE SCROLLER!!!!

The CMS is pretty easy. I was in bed this morning thinking of ways to make the actual murders. I was thinking maybe using battle animations, and they'd only work if you're within range of the enemy.

The animation of you say, shooting a gun, would play over the hero, and the monster's head flying off would play over the monster.

Any other ideas?

I know one of the bosses will be a giant mecha I'm drawing. They'll most likely be images that move around and do things, but I'm not gonna mess with that for now. Here's a battle animation I'm working on for the game:

I had an Idea:
The monsters are cute and fuzy but with gore names like: Zombie bunny
And the bosses will be horrible but with girlly names like: Petal Cupid

Like my room?

Well, the only major thing I'm having trouble with is the enemies actually being attacked. See, when you hit a number button, you attack using a randomly selected annimation. I have animations for the monster to die according to the random attack. The script is like this:

Key input process: [any number button]
Var-Set-Random number between 1 and 5

Branch if varable = 1
Play battle animation- Hero attack 1
Play battle animation- Enemy death 1
Set Variable to 0

Branch if varable = 2
Play battle animation- Hero attack 2
Play battle animation- Enemy death 2
Set Variable to 0

And so on like that. The only thing I need help with for right now is making everything work out right. I need the hero to be within range (a few blacks away at the most) and the enemies death to play over the right enemy at the right time. Can someone please help?

Hey, that's pretty good. But still, I dont know how to attack specific monsters. What I have right now is, if you hit attack, it'll just play over and kill all monsters on the map.
