Okay! I'm going to finally work on this one. I have officially deleted all past projects and I'm going to work on one that actually has a storyline!!!! But it's kinda' cliche'd... Heheh...

10,000 years ago in a world called Yugoth, a great and
powerfual man tried to take over the world. His only known
name was the Dark Lord. He had conquered all of Yugoth,
and the planet was his slave. No one had the power to stop
him.
Then, three brave warriors came along. They were only
known as Ice Dagger, Flame Swordsman, and Black Mage
(none of the names stolen, just a lack of names). They had
plowed through all of his forces and had gotten to his lair.
But, as they tried to attack, he imprissoned thier souls into
thier weapons - a pair of daggers, a broad sword, and a
staff of power.
And his rule was to remain for the next 10 milleniums...

10, 000 years later on Earth, three young teenagers were
leaving school for summer vacation. They had it all planned
out - swimming, movies, arcades, mall, etc. But, they had
problem. A small shimmer. As they walked through the park,
they noticed a small light in the middle of the sand. It wasn't
dark or late afternoon, so it wasn't a firefly, and nobody had
a flashlight. Nodoy else seemed to notice it. When they
walked up to it, they were whisked into a world... A world
called Yugoth.

Pretty much, you play as the three kids, Sarah Wood, Leon
Strife, and Jarred Miller. When they get the weapons, they
can change from the soul form (the original heroes), and back
to themselves. You will have to do this repeatedly to solve
puzzles. You will be able to switch between characters from
the menu and change to the soul form by the touch of a
button.
Leon = Black Mage = Wind
Jarred = Flame Swordsman = Fire
Sarah = Ice Dagger = Ice
Certain buttons do certain attacks, but battling still takes place
from the regular battle area.

Leon:

He is the regular smart kid into fantasy video games. He knows
mostly everything when it comes to fantasy. Although he's shy,
he makes a great leader.

Jarred:
14
Boy
5'7"
He's the cool kid who always has his music to loud. He loves to
fight, but knows when not to. He always outspoken and is
never afraid.

Sarah:
14
Girl
5'6"
She's the pretty one both the guys want and is a track member.
Although she's made fun of for being a tomboy, she knows who her true friends are.

Incase you missed something:

Jarred's the tough one
Sarah's the fast one

Sounds pretty cool. Since the war or whatever was on another planet than you started on, its not as bad of a cliche. The only negative thing I have to say are the names Dark Lord, Black Mage, ect. are a little unimaginative. Maybe you could make up names that would mean the same thing in your game. For example, when your talking about the dark lord for the first time, maybe you could say something like, 'a terrible enemy rose up and ..., he came to be known as [name], meaning 'dark lord'. I don't know, it may help, it may not.

The rest of the game sounds pretty cool though, I like the idea of being able to change between the hero chars and regular chars. Anyway good luck with this

It's a good story with a good premise...but...I can't help but think Leon Strife's name is Cloud from FF7 and Leon(Squall) from Kingdom Hearts put together

I figured that out after I had already got characters together. I've had this planned before KH came out and before I was an FFFreak lol. But yeah. It kinda' is, but I hadn't known at the time.
Anyways... Characters!!!

Heh.. I like the idea of one character being the "fantasy video game geek" type... and then he ends up being part of something like that, except it's real.

I'm guessing there's going to be at least one "What!? You mean it DOESN'T really work like that!?"-type thing at some point...
