If you really want to stick with this game, I suggest you make a more layered plot. Maybe certain companies doesn't want whatever you're mining to be recovered- perhaps a new fuel which will stop the current fuel from being bought... That company could be the same that destroyed your old mine, and may now be planning to sabotage your mission to the moon!
