Parkour, Anyone?
« on: August 24, 2005, 06:23:02 PM »
For anyone who dosen't know what Parkour is, I suggest visiting  THIS PAGE.

The essence is, you see a guy standing next to a van and flips over it out of nowhere, but really, it's an art form. All about being able to move and preform acts in an urban environment. It's also about healt and having a healty, active body and lifestyle.

I have just started looking into it, and I really would like to master this skill. Does anyone here partake in it or no? Also, what are your views on the subject?

If i were a clown, would you hold me when I'm down?/I wish I had someone to make me drown/So many people don't know that it's so damn hard to be a clown/I am the clown with the giant frown/My heart is in a state of being upside down...

My goal is to be walking down any alley and be able to get on top of the roofs with nothing but the walls, pipes, wire... the less the better.

Sweet. :)

I remember once running at a wall, almost flipping off it, landing on a wall, vaulting over it, then landing on my arse in the car park the other side. Haven't done much freerunning since then. :)
