Trailers.
« on: October 06, 2005, 03:56:05 PM »
I was just thinking, does anyone know any freeware for making trailers for things. Not Windows Movie Maker, I can't use it on my computer, as it's Windows 98 and WMM requires XP.

I don't need a link as such, just the name of anything which fits the bill would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

I don't think there's anything akin to WMM on Win98 (I also have 98, and I've spent hours looking for a movie maker for it), so your best bet would be to find a screen capture program that allows you to take videos of your screen, then import those to an animation maker and assemble the trailer there.

Or change to XP, cause itīs so much better...

Anyway, FRAPS will do that job about the screen capturing thing Warxe was talking about. Itīs a really nice program actually.

Yes, however, the old version is no longer available. The new version puts "Fraps" on your clips, unless you buy it.  Here.
