Some of oooog's work.
« on: January 27, 2006, 01:52:52 AM »
I like to consider myself a good drawerererer, so I guess I should share a few pieces of the work I'm proud of.  Granted, none of these are my own original characters, but I get carried away when I make my own, so I enjoy sticking with pre-made ones.  Also, I studied the poses of each individual characters off images I found, and drew them freehand without the images up.  You can believe me that I made them myself, or you wont, doesn't matter to me none, because I know I made them myself..well, partly.  Well, here is my work:

http://spaces.msn.com/orkyjork90/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c11_PhotoAlbum_spaHandler=TWljcm9zb2Z0LlNwYWNlcy5XZWIuUGFydHMuUGhvdG9BbGJ1bS5GdWxsTW9kZUNvbnRyb2xsZXI%24&_c11_PhotoAlbum_spaFolderID=cns!FA21DCA0846CE8B0!141&_c=PhotoAlbum

This is my MSN Space, I figured it easier to post this link rather than post each individual pictures.  Anyway, if you figured out how to navigate through it, the order of the pictures should be:
Kakashi - Naruto
Kenshin - Ruroni Kenshin
Mario - SMB
Vash - Trigun
Red XIII - FF7

If you wanna browse around, you can find my edited mario (colored in on paint.)

If there are any problems, let me know, and Ill post them individually (assuming you all want to see them.)

All comments accepting, even criticism, because I need to learn from my mistakes.

GUESS WHAT OMGZ TOPIC KICK!!!!!!!

Actually, rather than make a new topic, I'd rather topic kick my old art thread.

I was busy from January till now, and I recently aquired some free time and decided to whip out my pencil.  No pun intended.  This piece took me approximatly 15 hours to complete, because I was using my manga drawing book to help me.  Anyway, tell me what you think.

That's ironic because I always felt my Kenshin was my best....

Maybe it seems better to me because  it got messed up the most when going through the scanner.

I am a Rurouni Kenshin fanatic.

The hair is too far out, his eyes are not right.
He is  not positiond correctly, as his arm looks almost twisted from it's socket.

He's right, Kenshin does look pretty messed up. Although I wouldn't have gone into detail like Del Taco did.

Well, thanks for being honest.

(Just to clarify, you are talking about the Kenshin picture in the link in the first post right?  Because the picture I just posted isn't Kenshin.)

Yep, although the newer pic you posted looks a little odd, too. Can't put my finger on what seems wrong, though...

There is shadow, but the scanner I used is pretty worthless.  Most of the images look terrible next to the original copies.  That may be why Kenshin looks messed up to you, or perhaps I just failed to draw him.  No matter, I am currently working on another piece, follows the Samurai theme I've been making lately.  Dunno why, but samurais are way cool to me now, kinda like how vampires are to practically everyone I talk to now-a-days.
