Conspiracy?
« on: July 04, 2006, 06:27:56 PM »
Is there a huge world wide conspiracy?  After reading that article, I have lost a lot of my sceptisism (sp?) I don't know if its true, but there is a lot of information... all of it can't be fake.

OH MY GOD! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!

Seriously, though, just because most of that information is true doesn't mean that there's some "New World Order" planned. Aliens, sure. Ghosts, sure. Psychic powers, probably. But not giant worldwide conspiracies. The conspiracies do more controlling than the groups themselves.

*Hssssssss*  Politics and conspiracy's.  Bad.

What good can come of reading stuff that may or may not be true?  All is does is give birth to more and more paranoid conspiracy nuts.  I can see why some people would want to read this stuff, curiousity.  But how does that old saying go?  Curiousity killed the cat?  Well, cats have nine lives and were much bigger than cats, so I think it would hurt us a lot more.  Besides, weren't you happier when you didn't read that?  Now, I'm not saying being entirely ignorant of these things is a good thing.  I'm just saying that these conspiracy's should not be taken seriously until there is some serious hard evidence to back it up.  Also...I'm having trouble understanding what exactly it's trying to prove.  As far as I can see, it was just some person listing scenerio's in history that could be linked to terrorism or somthing.

That's good.  There's too many as it is.

Besides, what could benefit from reading and pondering these?

So there's a secret behind that?  And you think you know it!?  Awesome!

I need another can of conspiracy-B-gone.

No offense to you Shady, in case you thought I was being offenseful.

People can draw conclusions from anything and everything, most of the time they are just random things that they try to tie together. In the end, its all nonsence.

Conspiracies are only fun until someone gets hurt.
Basically, it doesn't matter if there is some entity out there trying to take over, because there's Charas.  And we're our own secret society.  So they can have their clubs and we'll have ours.

Besides, all's fair in love and war.
