Black and White 2

Ok, I need to get something off my chest.

Now that I have removed the cake, I shall explain the purpose of this thread.

I recently purchased Lionhead Studios Black and White 2.  I have been waiting until I had $30 to go buy it (3 months.  It's hard to earn money on a -$10 a month salary.)  I purchased the game, and began playing.  After about 10 hours of gameplay (With a trainer ((A little "cheat sheet", I guess you can call it))), here was my opinion of the game:

B-E-A-utiful.
Graphics - Brilliant
Sound - Amazing
AI - Smart
Overall gameplay - Amazing

Basically, it was the greatest game in the world to me.

After I became confortable with the game, I began playing without the trainer.  I had only gotten 4 lands into the game, which isn't even halfway, with the trainer.  After awhile of gameplay....things became different.  I discovered it was entirely possible to build up a wonder and launch an epic miracle, i.e. a hurricane, and completly wipe out the main village.  It was possible to do this before the enemy launched a single attack.  Why is this important you ask?  When the hurricane is launched, a tornado appears where it was summoned, and sucks up enemy buildings (and people), and kills the people and turns the buildings to useless wood.  This is important knowledge.  Now, keep in mind, it is possible for the tornado to suck up armory's (army recruiting areas.), and they turn into useless wood.  Why is THIS important?  THE AI DOESN'T REBUILD IT.  Therefore, it is entirely possible to launch a crippling attack on the enemy, destroy their armies, and take over the land because they don't rebuild.  Too easy for my taste.

The good way to win the land is also to easy.  All you have to do is attach your creatures leach towards where the enemy armies march, and leave him.  Build a wall up, and just place buildings everywhere.  I was only 1/3 finished building the village I imagined, before I impressed the land, and beat it.

So, in a nutshell, the game is way to easy.  I've tried various other options that either result in a massive victory, or defeat.

The message/warning, do NOT purchase this game until it goes under $15 bucks.  If you must play it, rent it or borrow it from a friend.

Why did i post this?  Because I wanna post a review of the game elsewhere and I wanna see the reactions I get here .

I downloaded Black and White 2. It's a great game, but I agree with you on the too easy part. I don't like easy games, but it's so cool that it barely matters.

It is cool, I'll give you that, but it was a bigger upset for me than you because I was a HUGE fan of the original Black and White, and I expected too much from the game, as I realize now.
