Program Request
« on: July 31, 2006, 08:07:03 PM »
I just need to know where a program is that lets you capture screen shots easily. I have to rip stuff from a ROM but I am having trouble catching the water animation.
So if someone could point me in teh direction of a program I would be glad. I know there is one that akes a screen shot every second but can't find it

Look up animget, its probably the best for frame by frame. Also, it makes great gift baskets.

gamingw.net

Go to utilities, and download AnimGet.  It catches screens every time the graphics change.  It's good stuff.

What kind of ROM are you ripping from? If you're ripping from a GBA game, you could get an emulator called VisualBoyAdvance, that has frame-by-frame movement that makes ripping easily. And if you're ripping from an SNES game, ZSNES has a feature that captures a screenshot every frame. I'm sure that there's other emulators, but if you're ripping from something obscure, go with AnimGet.

I am using VBA, I forgot they had the frame skip feature. But no matter this helps also.
