Can't hear BGM!

For some reason I cannot hear any of the the BGM's in RM2k, I can hear the sound effect all right and I'm pretty sure it's not my computer since I can hear the BGM fine with Windomws Media Player.

Check a couple of things:

-Go into the Volume Control, and make sure that "SW Synth" is at max volume.
-Make sure that the volume bar in RM2K isn't at 0.
-Check if the BGMs work in-game.
-See if the RTP music works.
