Best FF Hero?

Well technically, its from Final Fantasy Chronicles, which even though Chrono Trigger wasn't 'Final Fantasy' it was later put on a disk and labled under Final Fantasy Chronicles. The game kicked ***, but I didn't really like the characters all to much, Magus and Frog were cool though.

I hate when heros don't talk, why the hell wont they talk? I know this is an FF topic, but still, the chrono series, the BOF series, and a lot of other games, the heros dont say a word, and rely on the seconday characters to talk for them. They lose most of their personality right there. The only hero who is cool for not talking or at least acceptable, is Caim from Drakengard, but thats only because he gave up his voice to enter a pact with a dragon to get revenge.

 I guss heros don't talk to make it easier to whoever's playing to relate to them. Because, let's say, if whoever is playing talks with slangs, it would be hard to identify with someone who talks like "I shall save thy land from thy efil."

^You make a good point, but sometimes I don't want to relate to heroes, I want them to be a strong character with a cool personality.

Didn't like Cloud, the guy has this overly gelled hair, a sword of freakishly large nature that is incorrectly used in all ways possible and added to that his personality is as developed as a green persimmon, and just as bitter.

Even though he looks like a girl, then again, few FF heroes look "manly", I think I'll just go with Cecil from FFIV for now. It was one of the first FFs I played.

Otherwise I'd go with Gau the feral kid from FFVI, I dunno if he counts as a hero but he's funny. XD And via a bug can become incredibly powerful. XD
