Help! I Can't get music to play...
« on: November 25, 2007, 04:25:39 PM »
I used the map tree fix from this web:

http://www.rpgmaker.net/tutorials/7/

and It worked but now whenever I am working on a game (or make a new one) the music won't play! I chose a file for it and everything but when I test the game it doesn't work...does anyone know how to fix this? :x  _veryangry_

Believe it or not, at one time my music stopped working. MP3s would play but not midis. I actually found out in control panel that the midi music has been turned fully down and muted. I never did this, it was a complete mystery. Try going in control panel and messing with the volumes.

Windows Media Player does this automatically after playing a midi for some odd reason. =p

There was a thread by Meiscool about this in either tutorials or RM Programming...

With any luck, your 'SWsynth' will be down to 0 and you can just put it up to full again. Just right click the volume icon in your taskbar and go 'open volume control'.

If it's not that, then the problem might be a little more difficult to fix...
