Unless this is an announcement trailer pulling on our nostalgia for sales, I'm a little disappointed. I'm kinda hoping that there will be more than two dimensions...

Not interested. I played the original, got as far as 1999 (I think that's when it was), when the cities were in ruins and I just didn't feel like playing any further.

That guy with the orange hair in Chrono Trigger reminds me of Dragonball Z characters, particularly Goku except younger, in a different outfit and with orange/red hair.

Yeah. The creator of the DB series was in charge of character design.

At least, that's what I recall reading. I know that dude's been in charge of character design for Dragon Quest for the last few games.

Yes, Akira Toriyama. Or something.

He drew Dragonball and character designs for all of Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest Monsters, Blue Dragon and most importanty, Chrono Trigger.

Looking at the cut scenes in the PS version you can easily tell its DBZ style
