I think Chrono Trigger's a pretty cool guy. eh goes thru time and doesnt afraid of anything.

I'd be happy with just enhanced graphics and a new dungeon, but Glenn and Schala PCs would be great additions. Also, it'd be absolutely awesome if they included a port of Radical Dreamers in it.

From a guess, I think the top screen will be a map. Bottom screen you move like Phantom Hourglass.

During battle, the battle is on the top screen and the choices are at the bottom.

its a solid game, and  will probably reamin as such.

FFVII was not a crap game. It was just played out and over hyped.

Squareenix does put out new titles, but you nubcakes dont buy them. So they do what a company is supposed to do, and make money...By using the wealth of franchises they have at their disposal. You act as if the Corporation owes you something more then what it provides...'it' being RPG games.

The market to sell a remade game that is 10-15 years old, will appeal to an audience of 18-30 year olds. And I hate to say it, but they have the money.

Im going to enjoy the game, myself. Chrono trigger does deserve a remake. About as bad a secret of mana, and megaman 1,2,3 and The first four dragon warriors. Dont act like you have mastered the ins and outs of the gaming industry, when you are not even old enough to work full time.

things like that piss me off. Square doesnt owe you anything. It owes the consumers that have the money support the franchises. They really dont give a crap about forumites, and I dont blame them. The opinions of a few handfulls of butthurt 14 year olds dont matter in this context.

Anyhow, Im going to go enjoy waiting for the remake of a favorite childhood game of mine now.

I wouldn't call it a remake. It's a straight port with some slight additions and toutch screen capabilites.

No one mentioned changing the gameplay, and the cutscenes are actually from the old PSX remake i believe.

Porting is not as easy as drag and dropping. By the time a game is done being ported from SNES to DS, they've put the SAME amount of effort as they would have into a new game.
