New Problem
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:49:38 AM »
Thanks to everyone for the help with my sprite problem, but I have a new issue that has arisen. I wanted new chipsets for my maps (because I really dont want my house to look like a cave to look like a castle to look like a forest.) So I found some new chipsets. I did the obligatory 'save picture as,' then I went to my RpGmaker and went to my Resource manager, and imported the new file, aaaaaand...Nothing. It's not showing up anywhere. It's in my resource manager, and I can pr俄view it, but it's not under any of my chipset tabs and I can't change it under map properties or anything. Again, any help or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, you need to actually make the chipset into a tileset I guess.

In the database - go to the tab "Tileset"
Now create a new one (Array Size).
Under the title "Tileset file" click and choose the chipset you imported.
After that you need to determine what terrain is where and what stuff are passable and such.

Thank you very much! I will look in to this today.
