Hilariously enough, people that were watching the Xbox One reveal conference on their Xbox had their Kinects react to the voice command examples.

CNN -- Reacting to "feedback from the Xbox community," Microsoft is appearing to reverse course and change two key components to policies for its new Xbox One video game console.
All disc-based games can be played without ever connecting online, and the 24-hour connection requirement has been dropped, according to an update to a May post concerning questions about the new device, due to be released this fall.
Additionally, there will be no limitations to using and sharing games, Don Mattrick, president of the Interactive Entertainment Business division, says in the post. People will be able to share, trade or resell their games in the same way they do for Xbox 360 games.

Perhaps there is some hope for Microsoft?

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Yeah, their backpedaling right now is great. It's rare to see a company admit that they're wrong.

The thing that gets me, however, is that there are a lot of people who are mad. What the hell. I guess having the ability to let more than one account use a game (but not at the same time) is better than letting anyone play the game on any Xbox.

Aww how cute.  I'm still not getting an xbox one.  Good for them though for fixing their stupid problem.

It makes my inevitable caving in to their ploy (when the price drops far enough and the exclusives stack up tall enough) a lot less painful.

Microsoft is in full out defence mode now, trying to save whatever. Either way, even with these good changes you still have to deal with region lock and that horrendous 1984 device that's always watching, always listening, always reporting.

It's still hilarious how they said they did it because of publishers and developers but there are no actual publishers or developers that would want any of that.

It's not region locked anymore. But to be honest, all this drama, and the 100 bucks difference which is huge, is gonna lead me to get a ps4 first, and down the road when i have cash again, an xbox one-eighty. JUST for killer instinct... and whatever other good exclusive they have. And I HATE sony with a passion.

I'm glad I already got Nintendos console, we'll see when they finish FFXV or KH3, then it might be worth getting a PS4. Or if I'm really lucky, they will be released on WiiU as well, Squares loyalty is kinda faltering lately.

Same.  Purp and I were killing some monsters even though I kept getting disconnected most of the time... (stupid thunderstorm)  And btw, you can change it to hear others voices in the online settings.  I only chat with Marley, but chatting is easier to say things instead of typing in the heat of hunting lol

I have killer instinct for snes, but idk where the hell it is... :(

This, except I don't give a rat's *** about KI, and I only mildly dislike Sony.

Certainly, but I figured I'd mention it since the games were being used as examples of the PS4's strong offerings. Not exclusives = not good examples.
I see your point, but I'm not trying to convince anyone or argue anything here. Just because they are for both systems has no bearing on me unless the quality of the PS4 one is truncated for the Xbone.

I am excited for the games regardless, and I would much rather have a PS4 than an Xbone, it's as simple as that.
