Square sale on Steam

Might be worth looking at.

I would suggest Life is Stange and the new Tomb Raider games myself if you are interested.
The final fantasy ports are basically just ports, sometimes from a weird mobile version. Not sure how they run, I prefer to play those in the comfort of my couch.

The tomb raider games are fun. I can recommend Nier as well.

I'm kinda tempted to pick up World of Final Fantasy, anyone played it?

Would you suggest Nier on PC? Seems like a typical console game for me.

As for WoFF. I haven't played it myself but I've had it explained as FFXIII-2 with a more classic battle system. You have 2 main characters and they either have the monsters from the FF universe on their heads or riding them. In combat you can do some fancy thing to capture the monsters and add to your collection. There is a story but no real grip on that. Also the graphics are sweet and the overworld is kinda classic in it's layout.

All in all it seems like a game released a bit too late. The early 2010s had the Tales of Symphonia sequel and alot of other games that had the whole "monster capture" thing going on.

World of FF looked stupid to me. The Dissidia Opera Omnia looks less SD and more well put together in its battle system. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=85GI-rnBESU

Are the earlier Dragon Quest Games included? I'd love to pick up some of them if they are. Especially with all these PS1 ports now being playable on mobile and PC. My DQ3 works just as well as my old GBC one but looks more like the SNES port that you hardly ever find an English Rom of.

Edit:
*Looks sees DQ Heroes*.......WTF?! They tried to make DQ an action game with graphics that look like they are trying to mimic FF???
*Flips a room of Tables over*

Yeah, I would prefer it on console. If the pc port is good and you play with a controller it would probably be alright on the pc as well.

Sounds okay with me, I mostly just want something mindless and grindy.

Depends on why people are playing the game. 50% of the games on the market wouldn't make a buck if people didn't want mindless sometimes.
Picture it being a Micheal Bay movie. You don't watch if for the meaningful dialogue or the big questions. You want explosions.
