Confused

I'm very confused. I created my charset and I saved it and renamed it as an xyz file. Then when I go to RPG Maker it shows up black instead of my character. Did I do something wrong? Can someone please help me?

I'm not sure but I think you can't rename it as xyz, you must import it form RPGmaker as Raw material, then the program will transform it in xyz...

Already tryed that. All it does is stay as a php file. I have two choices, to save it as png, or a bmp file. Which one and then what do I do?

Anyways. You can use either .bmp or .png

I tryed renaming it as a bmp and png file either way it always turns out black. I'm using the online one. Not Charas.EX. I downloaded Charas.EX but it had less options. Could someone please help me. I wanted to get alot of this RPG done this weekend but I barely got an hour's worth done, because I need this charset.

Ok, now I've understand the problem, in your first post it seems other...
The problem is known, Alex is trying to solve it because if you use bmp or png it doesn't change, the program save always as php! We don't know why, but for now you can use the new gzip function to save it zipped, or you can create a 8 charset (it function!) or rip the screen with "stamp" button and than paste the image on your graphic program, sorry...

Maybe i used the wrong  words.

I work before and i still work on import new resources (or find person who will help)

And when somebody realy miss a feature, please say it, and i will try to add this feature (but when nobody say a word, i can't do anything.)
