rpg maker xp and videos

Was looking through event maker in XP and noticed theres no Play Video command...

Is this possible in XP without having to deal with a bunch of scripts?

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

This is another reason why you should stick w/ Rm2k or Rm2k3.
Unless you are an actual programmer, rm2k is more user friendly.

No.

To become a real game maker you have to learn to program. Using RM2k3 is just for the people who don't care to make a decent game, unless you want to code and add CMS and such. Go here to find your scripts:

www.Rmxp.org

If it is a against the rules to advertise, I am sorry. I can't get on the front page for some odd reason and I can't look at the rules and such.

What you did wasn't really advertising, it was just pointing someone in the right dirrection, if you made a thread and said, here, go to this site, then that would be considered more like advertising.

Yeah, a real game maker does need to program, but using rmxp isn't being a real game maker, its pretty much just as bad as rm2k3. Yeah, you can add a few scripts, but the main parts of the game is still a point and click system, plus the ruby scripting system is a really bad one. Using rmxp won't make you a better game maker than a 2k3 user.
