AFL: Kudos to you for doing that. I can't read music. I personally use Anvil Studio since it has a "piano and guitar" interface.

Phayre: I have a somewhat similar idea in my storyline, and I'm good at making societies. Hit me up if you ever need a second opinion.

I can't really use Anvil. I tried, and I just couldn't do it. At least my 5-6 years of reading music pays off in composing.

REPOST:  Well, figured I'd post this.  I'm working on some drill sets for my The Ghosts of Heart Lake Arrangement I'm doing.  (I got permssion from drenrin!)  This is Set 1.  The band will hold this from for 3 beats, then move.  I don't have the colorguard in yet.  But I made the band people all by myself!  I like how my drums turned out.  Anyway, I guess I'll attach it.

Despite the fact that I can read music, and pretty well (as in, I can play something while looking at it for the first time) looking at AFL's notation there did absolutely nothing for me. I suppose it's probably due to the fact that I don't know exactly what a pitch is without an instrument. I can't look at notes and sing them for some reason. If I grabbed my guitar I could probably figure it out and tell you how it sounds, but either way, it LOOKS good :

I'm currently working on several projects now. I'll list them here:

De Legende van Ertar (The Legend of Ertar)
Originally this will just be a Dutch novell, in which I try to create a teen-lit (literature specifically written for teens), but I might translate it in English. It was based on an RPG Maker project I was going to create, and thus will have many RPG elements in it, story-wise. For example, the story begins without introduction of the main characters, and it starts with a sleeping main character.

The story is set in Ertar, a planet on which two types of creatures live: the spirets, the main group of creatures, which vary from animals to humanoids, and ruvis, scaled creatures who feed off the energy of Ertar and kill spirets just to get their energy.

However, this story is not about spirets versus ruvis, although these ruvis play an important part in the story, as the main obstacle, but also a way to bring drama into the story.

I'm planning to actually publish this story, so fingers crossed.

Project fantasy
This will be a project which incorporates fantasy creatures and such. It will be a novell, and it will be written for my mother, who loves fantasy creatures. I might publish it, or just write the book and buy one copy of it for my mother. I'm not sure of what the story is all about.

The main plot so far is that a guy named Calvin is sent back in time with a team to find a cure against a disease, all before the "Planetary Shift" in which the cure gets destroyed permanently. Problem is, the time machine can only bring them back one year before this shift, and what's more, around that time the big Machine War is starting, a time where dragons nearly get extinct, and where the fate of magic and technology is unknown. Will Calvin find the cure without changing the course of history?

It's a song I've written in 2005. The song is actually done, I only need a videoclip. This videoclip will be done in Elite Beat Agents style, and will be done in Flash.

The main plot of the videoclip is that Jonathan Explorer gets the task of taking the Yummycakes out of the oven before they get burnt, or else the prezident is toast. Unfortunately Jonathan falls to sleep. Now he has to bake new ones before his friend Zictor gets back.

Always Drink Your Milk
It's a song I've been writing for a long time now, but it still needs to be recorded. I've also planned the videoclip, and I also know where to film it. I'm hoping on a sponsorship from Campina, a company which deals with products like milk and such.

Nin-Ten-Do
This is also a song yet to be recorded. It will use the Punch-Out password tune, and will be one big fan song for Nintendo. I just need to write the fast-paced bridge at the end of the song, and then the music arrangement can begin.

Like A Yoshi
This song only has the first part. I can't really tell much about it, mainly because I have so little, but it's a Yoshi tribute song. I hope I can get Fjejory Plexco to do a rap part for the song.

Song of Storms
One of the two songs where it's unlikely that I would ever sing it. It's a sort of metal version of the Song of Storms, which starts with a renderition of the original version (with ocarina, and the organ), but continues with overdrives and drums. Finally it ends with the renderition of the original version. I already got a great part of the text.

(Music on) Rainbow Road
This one is a fan song of mainly the first Rainbow Road. I have a disco setting for the music, so I really need that disco sound as a voice. So, it's unlikely for me to ever do this song. However, I have the full text of it.

Two Days Ago
Based on the original, I've planned this song for a long time now. It will mainly be rap, but will include samples from the original. Nothing much to tell about again.

I Know How You Feel
One of two Charas songs I'm going to record sooner or later. Hopefully I will get to it. I hope some still remember this song. You can find the original here, although I've improved the lyrics a lot to make it sound better.

I Believe That I Believe
The second Charas song I've written, even though I've never let anyone know about this project. I might just show you this project.

Project Captain N: The Future Quests
It's a Flash project I've been working on for ages, but I really need help on this. Any help, actually, from story writing and the script to spriting, animating and even voice acting.

Hunters:
It's still VERY early in, (me and my brother are still working on the story...) and there's still alot I've got to do before I can even start making it with RM2000. Don't expect to see anything about it for awhile.

Zelda Classic
Legends of Romia II: Mistress of the Wind:
Started this around the beginning of the summer, but is going very sluggishly. I hope to have a demo of it out before christmas, but there's no gurantee. It'll feature 9 levels, many secret dungeons, and sidequests. I hope to make some use of newer features that ZC has to offer. Still working on the Royal Kingdom, and the Romia Mainland. (There's more about it on my site. The link is in my sig.)

Eclipse:
A little project I started around the beggining of the month. It's a small quest that'll only feature 7 levels. The main focus on this is puzzles. I'm making this on an older version, for stability. Each level features a different style of puzzle. Currently working on level 2.
