HERE WE GO AGAIN
« on: May 02, 2008, 02:42:28 AM »
Gee, maybe I should just buy a new computer. Clearly something isn't right.

My computer BSOD'd on me again. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except this time it refuses to accept input from my keyboard during the "press any key to boot from CD" phase.
Obviously I need to input during this part, so not being able to means I'm currently stuck with a heavy pile of USELESS.

So I guess I need to fix it the fancy way, the fancy PULL YOUR COMPUTER APART AND GET THE HDD OUT AND GET ANOTHER COMPUTER way. And I don't know how long it'll take for me to do that.

So yeah. I'm going to be a bad admin again and not be able to do stuff for a while (because I don't think I'll be able to use this computer much, less for social things).

In other news, Coldplay released their newest single on the internet, so that's pretty cool. New album in June, hooray!

I'm not reformatting ****. I've got too much old stuff there, and I only reformatted it a few months ago anyway.

...you know, I reformat my computer twice a year, and never lost any archives. Only some codecs and stuff like that.  :|

I must be doing it wrong.

Yeah well if you back up, you're not going to lose anything.
But when the HDD is inaccessable, backup does not appear possible.

Rest assured I had a hilarious ascii face to spite you with.

Anyway your advice is expensive, so I'm going to disregard it completely and get someone who knows what they're doing to help me.

Aw c'mon, I bet you laughed a bit XD

Seriously man, it may be expensive, but it's certain...just go to someone trustable, cause tech usually rips you off...

If s format didn't work, it may be hardware problem, which not just anyone can deal with...

It's a hardware problem that caused all this, and will continue to cause if it I don't handle it right, I know.
In order to fix it I need someone who knows how to repair windows over two comps.
