smitty: no

omega: well, if you do, let me know.

smitty: oh, yeah, that reminds me *reaches under counter and grabs a jet-black 5' longsword* you really need to update your close range arsenal

omega: wow, a gift from you... thats unexpected.

smitty: good, because im selling it, its not a gift

omega: what?! c'mon smitty, help a guy out

smitty: this is no ordinary sword, you see, it reacts to magic in a different way, anything that hits it, acts like an enchantment spell.

omega: this is the last of the money from this mission, that should cover it, and my tab, of course

smitty: HAH! tell me youre joking, have you no idea what that stuff youre drinking costs?

omega: no, and i dont want to, take it or leave it, the race should be starting soon.

smitty: *takes the money* whatever, good luck.

omega: yeah *gets up and leaves* (i guess i wont meet this new racer after all, oh well, this could be the legendary darkside, so who cares?)

Zaknafein: My name is Zaknafein from the land of Ched Nasad..a land I'm sure you never heard about. Where I live, technology is for whimp, swords for the strongs and magic for the smart.

 *Grandy is onboard SouthWind, fixing some engines, he is apparently happy*
 Grandy: *whistles a music* Ah, finnaly, the race will start soon, I just can't stay in this place anymore, I HATE when they say "Please, Mr. Grandy" or "Mr.Grandy, what can I do for you?" Its just too formal!

Kyrel: Mmm, Check, Check, The Race will start soon, I can't wait for it, I might aswell go talk to the other contestants...

*Heads towards the South Wind*

 *An alarm in South Wind*
 Grandy: *tries to get up an hit his head* OUCH! I mean, who is out there?

[Dragonium]

*Inside the hangar, Dragonium is blancing on the railings around his ship, practicing by swinging his sword around Tai-Chi style*

Dragonium: A few more hours... *Glances toward the horizon, waiting for the sun to rise*

Link: Nice ta meetcha Zaknafien.........so, what kind of vessel are you using.  I'm sure that it's very powerful considering you're a Drow.

Zaknafein: My ship is called the 'Predator'. It's an Imperial Ship, part of  the Matron Mother's personal fleet. It's a very powerful ship but I don't intend to destroy anyone or anything with it...as long as I don't get provoked into it.

*Look in the sky*

Zaknafein: An excellent day for racing. Hopefully your ship is ready, whatever kind of ship it is?

[Dragonium]

*Dragonium is sitting on the rails of his ship, his sword sheathed, drinking from a small flask he keeps in his belt-pouch*

Dragonium: The race is close. I should get ready...

*He wanders to the control panel and mutters the words again; the ship instantly springs into life, rising into the air and moving nimbly out of the hangar. He then leans over the side of the ship and watches for the other racers*

*In the courtyard*

Link: Well, my ship is just your average ship.  It's wooden, but it odes hav a few tricks up its sleeves.  Also it.....*All of a sudden, a holographic image similar to the first appears over the castle*


Attention!  Attantion all racers!  Please report to your vessels, and bring them to the Castles port.  I repeat.....


Link: Well, guess I should be headin' off.  Good luck Zaknafien!  *Walks towards the hangar*

[Dragonium]

*As Dragonium sees the hologram and heads for the port, the first rays of sunlight begin to pierce the night-time air*

Dragonium: Right on cue...

*He reaches the port, and hovers above the ground, testing how quickly the engine can react to the slightest chnage in control*
