XD
try using that "edit post" button on the bottom of your post insted of posting 2-3 times in a row, when you can just add to your post.
Oh and the xp rtp, still look rtpish. i think so anyways.

I dont know if thats possible, but host your images on http://www.photobucket.com and post them here by putting the html links.
Also, add stuff to your map, put life in them. A house and a tree isnt really apealing for players.

the battle system of the game:

okay im going to talk to you about the diffuculty of my battle system using a zombie as an example.

say you encounter it at lv 1 to 9 it will have a high chance of using an attack and a low chance of using acid.

now at level 10 to 19 it will now be stronger being able to have more of a chance with acid and a good chance of using virus.

finnaly if your at lv 20 to 100 it will use renew cells (heals self) to span the battle on a little longer...

battles still dont get much easier because if you are by yourself... you can easily get killed by even the simplest of villagers (until you level up enough).

there are no random encounters, you either have to touch a monster npc, or be chased by it.

class skills: some users you recruit might have some skills to thier name... but there are 10 versions of each spell for a wand wielder, and many differant skills for the other classes, you can only find these by completing missions, finding them in hidden places or in the arena.

tell me on how i can improve with these 2 things.

I look forward to a demo of this.

...mostly 'cause you've manage to make something GOOD out of RmXP. Kudos!

Well I ment, put some flowers or dead people in random places. It will make your game look less noobie.
And posting to put atachements dont matter if you double post. but try not to post 2 times if you can just add up your text. Thats what i ment.

Not exactly. I just find RPG Maker XP much more restricting than 2k3, even if it has better graphics. I just tried to make something in it and only succeeded in stressing myself out. I love the look of RmXP games but can't use the program well. I look forward to you game.

actually you would be suprised how open ended the maker is...

the good things
1. can import jpeg images.
2. you can tint sprite sets.
3. much simpler to animate.
4. animations look better.
5. charging before casting like on ff series.
6. easy to layer things perfectly.
7. you can combine music with background sounds.
8. simple scripting for dumb people who happen to be fans of video games, like me.
9. easy to understand class design system.
10. simple to implement events (just need to get used to them)
11. more in depth tile set editor.
12. you can make your own battle transitions.
13. music makes the game better. (cant explain, just try importing a midi into it... you will see)

the not so good things
1. complicated needs for bacground music to turn off.
2. cant make monsters transperant (ghosts)
3. battle characters dont move which isnt necceceraly a bad thing.
4. events needed to change battle background (unless you want to rely on tileset back drops)
5. some songs/midi music you import can sound really bad.

But Rm2k3 can do about the same if not more with just a bit more work.

RmXP isn't for everbody. It's fine by me if you like it, the point I'm trying to make is that I'm impressed you can make good games with it because I certainly can't.
