xp issues
« on: May 10, 2005, 03:57:19 AM »
I'm just unclear on the rmxp situation here at charas.

Are there plans to support rmxp resources at charas and/or an rmxp complete-resources section?

Personally I don't use rmxp but I know many others are starting to use it and demand for resources are growing at other communities as well

so I'd just like to get the facts on this and to know where charas stands with the whole rmxp issue going on.

Support is a no. Until it becomes legalised this is where we stand. So it's a NO NO and NO.

Sorry, to intervine, but if other sites use it, what's the big deal?

It will never be made legal and english officially

but rm2k and rm2k3 won't be either

my point is, if the fact that xp downloads are illegal is reason enough to not support xp resources, then why even continue to support 2k and 2k3 resources. they are all just as every bit illegal to download equally

Again, I don't use rmxp personally so I don't care what the end decision is on this

They'll just have to deal. Sure it has some nice features, but up and coming freeware makers are actually more powerful, yet they require more work.

Sidenote, do you know how that free RPG Maker clone was called and if it still exists? And no, not RPG Toolkit.

Not that it could ever match the Toolkit, of course. :P
