Voting System

We should implement a voting system akin to that of Newgrounds. People should be able to vote on the quality of a resource, and if the resource gets enough bad votes, that resource is removed. There are way too many resources that are unusable either because they're covered with unremovable text, they're sized wrong, or they're just horrible quality.

Ok, how about this. If someone finds a resource they don't think is good, they can post it, then people can vote on it. It'd be pretty easy, in my opinion. Maybe a seperate forum for it?

ok, this sounds pretty good, and a whole voting system, is allot of work, but a different forum for it? yeah way better i agree

It IS a good idea. This forum can't handle something like that by themselves, but I think it is worth passing on to Alex.

Yes, it MAY BE a good idea.
Anyhow, who is responsible of the complete section are the members of the CRUT, so they are the one who need to say yes (and to say "i'll follow it in its every form") to this idea.

Actually i wouldn't suggest forum usage to vote resources for 2 reasons:
1) the pool management is still a bit buggy, i have not already worked over Koffies original script about this
2) would be hard to determine a valid "deadline" for voting

Surely i'd suggest removal of unusable resources, and they can be signalated here, in this forum (as it happens now).
But a vote seems unuseful to me, because if a resource is usable and not doubled, which criteria will you use to say "delete it"? If 10 voters will say "i don't linke it"?

Anyhow feel free to reply, as usual i'm here to discuss new possible solutions. These are only my thoughts.

See, the thing is, there's quite a few resources here. Unfortunately, a good amount of them aren't worth having on the site. They could be covered with irremovable text (a LOT of Title Screens do this). It quite near impossible to use these unless you're the creator of the resource. If we're searching for a resource we need (that's somewhat specific), it's a hard task wading through all the unusable resources to find the one you want.

Plus, with the removal of some resources, wouldn't that help with the site's bandwidth? (I only have a vague idea of what I'm talking about here, so bear with me).
