Mp3 Patch
« on: June 01, 2005, 11:13:34 AM »
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this? I found a German version, but that really doesn't help much.

Why don't you just download rm2k3? It has inbuild mp3 support (and of course lotsa other new features).

Don't ask where to download it. Try search on google for "rm2k3 1.09 download" or something like that.

I found a MP3 patch some while ago, but it was kinda complex, with a lot of things, like extra installation, PC reboot and such... O_o

Oh, really? I thought was only XP. Well, I am using 2K3 and you have answered my question once again Sephiroth. Thanks!
(This can be locked by a mod if needed.)

Edit: Ok, I got V. 1.09, but now RM2K3 doesn't want to connect to the RTP. Do I need to re-install that or download a new version of RTP or something?

Ok, yeah. I know this is a double post, but just consider it a bump.  I installed RM2K3 V. 1.09 and I suppose I can't say where I got it from, but it was an evil version of some sort. It DELETED, yes you heard me right, deleted my entire game! All the resources and maps dissapeared from my game's folder when I opened it in this new version. I had to do a system restore to regain my game. So if anyone has a good download to V. 1.09, please drop me an E-mail.

Edit: Nevermind, I have been E-mailed a working version and all is well, thanks.

You need to have RM2K3 V.1.09 or V.1.08. If you need it, I can E-mail it to you, otherwise I don't know what the problem would be.

A thing: NEVER use MP3 Patch in RPG Maker 2K3. It can seriously damage your database and you will need to start making the game from 0%! You can use Jet Audio or another program with a WAV -> MP3 conversor (but I seriously recommend Jet Audio) to make the MP3 works, just set to convert to MP3 with a quality of 160 kbps (if it is music) or 96 kbps (if it is just a sound)
