Friend Problem

Hello, I know I don't post here often, but can you help me with a friend problem?
Ok, this is the problem:
I'm friend with a boy and I just now discover he like me.(He just IM me) The problem is I just want to be friends with him. What should I do?
Here is the conversation btw.

Just tell him off that you don't like him. If he asks why just tell him you are thinking of somebody else.

Well, yeah all you can do is approach him that way, and better not lie about it either. Just say that all you want from him is his friendship (if it's really what you want, unless, you don't even want to be friends with the guy). Yeah tell him straight up, of course you may want to be nice about it.

It didn't worth for Darth Vader and it wouldn't work for him!

Anyway, yeah, it's awkward. If he's your friend you don't want to upset him but you DO want to make sure he knows you don't want to go out. Don't make excuses like "I can't date until I'm 16 and a half." Just be polite but firm. Say something like "I don't like you that way. I'm sorry."

I think I'm going to set a new standard for all possible girlfriend candidates. They must be able to type like me/Sai/Red (that is: grammatically [most the time] and punctuationally correct) in MSN and the like. :P
