WTF !??!?!

ok, been like 2weeks i didnt go on my rpgmaker2003, and now, i went on it, and on my opening screen, where it says : new game, load, etc
the bug is that my "choice" go down to up and i cant stop that... when, i press "enter" at the good time, to test my game supose, when im in my game, my character go left, after up, after left, after up, until hes stuck...and i cant even move...when i press the left arrow key my character juss look up...nothing else.... someone know why it does that ? it never happened before...

His arrow keys are pressing automatically to laft/up/left/up/left/up/etc./
 His character gets stuck, because its aways moving to left/up.

 Its probably something with Auto-Start events, it happens with me as well

May I suggest checking your keys then? They might be malfunctioning, sticking, or whatever. Check the keyboard.

everything is all right...i just check a game ( mario seven stars ) in my emulator...and it worked... arrow keys were allright

and, no, i cant be an auto-start event, cauz it bug too in my opening screen....and the OS as nothing to do with a auto-event *-)

Do you have a joystick plugged in? If it's just a lil bit to one of the sides the character will move in that direction constantly. that's also the only thing I can think of that can affect the title screen too, unless you have a corrupted version of rm2k/3.

im using keyboard :S...i dont have joystick and how could it be corrupted ? it worked perfectly before :S

I remember something like this happening to me before... although I can't actually remember how I fixed it.
Are you sure it couldn't possibly be an autostart event, or a common event or something, otherwise... it's very odd.

This happens to me much of the time. There are several ways to fix it.

a) Throw keyboard at wall. Swear at it. Sit back down and act like nothing happened.

b) Throw monitor at wall. Swear at it. Sit back down and act like nothing happened.

c) Throw computer tower at wall. Swear at it. Sit back down and act like nothing happened.

d) Go through your first few maps, make a note of what was in them, then delete them. Remake them. They should work now.

e) Get a better version of RM2K3.

Sorry if none of those helped, but that's all I can think of. Really.

finding a new version might be ok....but :S... i'm not sure exactly where to find "the better one ", and i tried the other solutions :S, it only cost me 400$ :S anyway lol anyone, know another solution :S ? and yea its not an auto-start event or comon...cauz it hapens too in my opening screen
