They're both pretty good, but the shading on each seems mis-matched. Where the shading is placed can make a huge difference.

Put a darker version of that color along the sides, lower edges and upper edges and a lighter version in the middle area.

O_o He ended up looking like a...hole with a head and legs. >_< Can you show me an example of shading?

EDIT: Also made it so his red eyes are more noticable. Oops forot to put his gold earring back *_* Oh well.

Ah...thats fine. But can you give some tips one shading? I did it the way that one guy said but it didnt turn out right so I didnt bother posting it...
