The game sounds good... Questions:
1. Is the game going to be long?
2. How much RTP you're using?
3. Are you using RTP monsters?

Not a CBS, the default one is effecient, there will be a custom conversation system though.
Mikagami:
1. long enough but hopefully not overly lengthed
2. This is constantly changing, maybe even eventually 0%
3. I'm using any that fit the bill, rarely any RTP monsters will be left, maybe 0%.
4. This is left to be uncertain.
I think I mentioned this before, but Chaos Realm is a game/story series that is based in a dream I had, CR is pretty much my life and I'm putting a lot of feeling into it, this means that it may take a long time to make. I'm not thinking of having anymore game projects than this one.

o dang! i remember seeing those before.. with the chick and the wizard sets.. 1 word to describe it.. SWEET. there were also the soldier BChars that were like those. sweet.

Yeah they fit the RM2K3 faceset more, that is one of the reasons I'm going to use them, #2 they match better with the other bchars I'm using.

As I said before, the battle menu/battle system is changable, I just selected the gauge one since it gives portraits.
Oh and as for the conversation system... it'll be a tough one but it will be very reliant on variables... reason? It can be a random number, and this would be useful for random responses. Also I'll use the Variable possibly for yes, no, and "YOU HAVE ANGERED ME! SUFFER!" responses from them.
Btw, to anybody who dosn't know what I am talking about, I'm talking about the conversation system with monsters in battle, aka Negotiation System. You can possibly gain him/her/it as a summon if things turn out well.
If you want a good example of conversation system such as this try Shin Megami Tensei (Digital Devil Story) for SNES, also because it is fully translated.

Yay for the guage battle system! I love that one, since it gives the portraits and generally feels more "advanced" then the others, but no one else seems to like it...

I like the concept of negotiation in battle. If you can do it well enough (i.e. without using 1000 switches and variables) then I mgiht have to steal it.
