The history of lol

In the beggining god created the planet, as most think. After that there were some wars and fighting when finally the PC came. With the invention of internet and games it took us in a new age, the age of fun. I remember it like it was 4 years ago. It was a normal game at C&C Renegade. And that's where Lol came from. C&C Renegade, one of the greatest online games of it's time. After that game and me and some gaming friends used it sometimes, other people used it and as we all know lol is allmost in the dictionary now.

Now wasn't that fun, history. It's a true story though, I really was there when it first came in gaming.

You're wrong, it wasn't around forever. The shortcut "lol" comes back from C&C Renegade.

Yes battle.net is the true origin of many internet saying like "lol" and "pwned".  Actually, WarCraft is what brought about "pwned" because the developers had not properly spelled "owned".  Either that or it was Diablo 1.  One of those Blizzard games.  Anyway, Diablo 2 is an awesome game.

lol is definitly from Battle.Net. I've played Diablo1 when it first came out and lol was already used once in a while.
