Question on Transforming

i have a question about RM2K3.....  im trying to make one of my characters transform in the middle of battle. my problem is i use the class change option and everything changes except for the Battle Chara....
wats wrong here?

Go into the Class seciton of the Database, and change the battlechar for that particular class.

I tried that already, the classes have two different battlechar but they still dont change. the moves do but not the battle char

Sadly, you change Classes in battle. I have no clue why it doesn't work, but doesn't. Your gonna to have to switch out characters. I've done alot of testing on Transforming since I'm working on a Transformers RPG and that's the only way it works (so far, at least).

Might be waaaay wrong with this idea, but couldn't you make a common event and then call it in battle which would switch out the BC?   (Please do correct me if I'm wrong, it's the only way I'll learn!)
