chipset problem gasssp

hi what's up ,that make long that i didnt come to this forum hehe anyway , i got a big prob , when i create a chipset and put it in the chipset folder  the game is not able to identifite, is all black ..! help me plz

humm my setup is in french but that sai '' profondeur des couleurs incorecte'' so i guess that a big prob..

From a rough translation, I guess that means its not the right color format. Change it to a 256-color PNG file with UFX.

i dont know what the hell is ufx but i find a way that make the color a little bit destroyed but anyway that work .. go with a normal paint open it in png ... change and save it in a 256 color after reopen it and change it again to png so its ok and that work ... ^-^

That works but  you lose a LOT of colors and it makes the picture look ugly. Search Google for "Ultimate FX Download".

ok damn for people who have tried my trick DONT TRY IT. for sure i loose lot fo color but that put a strange pink all over the map and when you test play its like if everything was pink so dont try that it was just lossing time ... ^-^' i will try with ufx if i find it ..

ok your ''ufx '' have changed nothing ... there a flot of pink all over the map ... just look the picture ... its only water and normal grass..

Same goes for everything you import. Always click on the background or else the color that should be transparent won't be.
