Poses/weapon skills
« on: August 05, 2005, 08:27:50 PM »
I'm trying to add some weapon skills in my RPG, as I feel that simply clicking "fight" for everyone apart from the magic users will get dull very quickly.
However, when I try to create a skill, I can only choose from a few "poses" in the animation settings - to attack with the right hand, left hand, skill use, dead etc.
Obviously, this isn't what I want - I want to have the character attack with the sword, not his fists! How can I do this? I can't find any option to add new poses.

The easiest way to do actual physical skills is to use battle animations. You just put a bunch of stuff on a battle animation, add your character in, and import it into RM2K3, where you can use he Animation Maker to make a skill for your hero. Of course, that's easier said than done, especially if you have little graphic editing skills.

Unfortunately, my graphic editing skills are somewhat less than those of a dried cabbage. Well, I'll work it out...... thanks.
