Des: Run,... leave! *Tries and fails to get up, collopses again*

Hope: *Begins to run, but Jothai follows her. She reveals a dart from her clothing and throws it at Jothai, and it pierces straight between his eyes*

Jothai: Argh! No weapon... Should have done this! *He pulls out the dart and shatters it in his fist, then clutches the air and Hope goes limp* You are mine now. I may not have realised your importance last time, but now my goal will be achieved!

-Des: ...no... Stop... *He reaches to try and stop Jothai, but his hand turns into the black fluid and dissolves*

-Jothai: Weak fool... Your memories are too much, eh? *He picks up Hope, and slings her over his shoulder* Your memories are destroying you from inside out...

-Des: Eating...

-Jothai: Tamano, do what you will with this fool. He will surely survive, but he likely won't be much more than a driek-up husk without a soul.

-Neon: No!  

-Jothai: Away from me! *He blasts Neon through one of the walls, then continues down the stairs*

-Malei: Stop! Tell me exactly what you're doing?

-Jothai: All I did was unlock his repressed memories. I have nothing to do with his physical and mental deterioration.

-Malei: Liar!

-Jothai: No one tells me what I am! *He blasts Malei back, then continues down the stairs, and out of the building*

[Drace]

Trevor: *slowly opens his eyes* *thoughts* (I hope they went away. Now just to open my eyes. OH GOD! They're still there! Where is someone else when you need them?!) *holds his open but not far enough to make it seem like they're closed*

Trooper 2: *Makes some noise*
Trooper 1: *Makes a noise that seems to respond on T2's noise*
Trooper 3: *Is examiniting a newspaper, followed by making a noise which seems to respond to T1's noise*

Jothai: I'm not afraid of you... I don't really care.

Tamamo's voice: Maybe this will change your mind some... because now I put a curse on you...  Tsumazuki korobu garasu wo kowashi, shokuryou ha anata ni, de aru hitei teki na kekka no akutai... dame ni naru! (You will stumble and fall, you will break glasses  and food will spoil, upon you is the curse of negative outcome...) it may not seem like much at first... but it'll get worse as time progresses... and the neat little part is that only I can remove the curse. And negative outcome applies to many other things... but you'll see soon enough... Nyahuhuhuh... by the middle of it's course you will learn to beg like the dog you are... *laughs and the voice fades*

*He sets Hope down, and creates a bubble of dark energy around him and Hope. When the bubble disappears, Jothai is gone, and Hope gets up.*

-Hope: You can't begin to comphrehend who you're dealing with...

*Wings of dark energy form from her back, and she flies off*

*Hope/Jothai stops flying, and hovers in midair for a few seconds.*

-H/J: No one... insults my power. Next time we meet, your soul is mine...

*H/J continues flying toward the countryside*

*Des is lying on a bed. He's topless, and he has black scars all over his body.*

-Malei: We can't do much else for him...

-Des: ...gate... Jothai, possess...  key to gate... can't help... demon... dying...

*A fresh wound appears on his body, spewing black blood.*

-Malei: He's dying...

-Des: *He looks up at Malei* I won't die. But I won't be the same again, either... Just kill me now, it'll save you time...

-Malei: I can't...

-Des: The S'res are immortal. I will come back, probably when you least expect it.

-Malei: ...are you sure?

-Des: Yes... *He picks up one of his demon teeth with his other hand* Please, Ma'ae.

-Malei: ...*She thrusts the weapon deep into his heart*

-Des: ... *His eyes close, and he goes limp. His whole body dissolves into black fluid*

Neon: ...

Tamamo: *sinks in through the wall and notices Des' death* ...Nonoshiri... I needed him alive... well, it'll make torturing that dark man all the more enjoyable... all I need is a few more souls...

Neon: *gulp* o.o...

Tamamo: Oh don't worry, you are worth more to me alive... say *tilts head*... you all seem tired and a bit hungry, how about I cook somthing up for you all...? Wait right here... nyahuhuh... *disappears*

Aoi: She can't be serious...

Neon: ... *sighs* This has been all too much...

Trevor: *slowly opens his left eye* *thoughts* (Please, be gone. YES! No aliens!) *slowly opens his right eye* (Please, please, please! YES! Also no aliens!) *get's up and looks around him* Phew, no aliens around. Well, I must get going. I've wasted enough time.

*H/J is standing in an unremarkable part of the England countryside - unremarkable, that is, except for the swirling distortion in front of them*

-Jothai: Let's see, if this woman is powerful enough...

*H/J raises an arm, and white energy flows out of Hope's fingertips. It circles the rift, which eventually shrinks and disappears.*

-Jothai: Hmmm...

*A new rift, now bluish-green in color, opens.*

-Jothai: Perfect...

*Dark mist-like energy rises from Hope's body, and enters the gate. It closes as the last of it passes through.*

Aoi: I don't...

Tamamo: Before you ask, no I have not poisoned it.

Neon: And why are you suddenly being nice?

Tamamo: Don't look too far into it, as I said... I need you alive... buuuut... I do find you rather adorable.

Neon: ...ugh... thats getting creepy...

Tamamo: Aw, whats the matter? Still angry over that Terranon thing? Well... sombody had to kill her. Like she was goi...

Neon: She still had good in her... I knew it.

-Seth: *looks over at Marvin* I haven't had much opportunity to talk to you. What is it exactly that you do?

Marvin: I study supernatural phenomenon, some consider it a waste of time but they don't know what we do, now do they? *half smile* Along with this I also study the different species of "Miscreations" as many tend to call them. Seems for being "micreated" they sure have been with us for quite some time...

-Seth: Longer than we've been around, for sure. My boss is one of the first Miscreations that came here, and he's at least 10,000 years old. And I study the supernatural too, in fact some mediums have said I have a gift with talking to the dead. Which reminds me...

*He grabs his cell phone, and dials something*

[Woman: Hello?]

-Seth: Huh? Where's Des?

[Woman: ...]

-Seth: Why do you have his phone?!

[Woman: ...Are you Seth?]

-Seth: Yeah. How do you know my name?

[Woman: My name is Malei. I believe it was you who directed him to me.]

-Seth: Yeah.

[Malei: Well... I'm sorry, but Des... he's dead.]

-Seth: ...I see. What got him?

[Malei: Darkside said it was his own memories that tore him apart, but I have a feeling that he had a bit more to do with it.]

-Seth: ....Darkside?

[Malei: Jothai.]

-Seth: Jothai? Where is he, now?

[Malei: We don't know. He possessed Hope and flew off.]

-Seth: ...I see. Thank you, Malei.

[Malei: Yes. Where are you right now?]

-Seth: A plane, due for London in a few hours.

[Malei: I see. I'll meet you at the airport.]

-Seth: Okay.

*He shuts the phone off.*

-Seth: Well, I don't want to involve you in this any more, so here.

*He hands Marvin a ticket*

-Seth: If you want to go back to Kyoto, this'll take you back. But if you want to come with me, I'll tell you about what's happening.

Marvin: I'm not afraid if that is what you mean, I've learned some tricks over the years. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, *takes out a small sensor device* it detected a short lived disturbance earlier.
