Need help with MP3s
« on: August 11, 2005, 04:22:19 PM »
Ok, I've installed the patch in order to play Mp3s in RM2k3, but so far, only one of the MP3's I imported will even play. The other mp3's will not play any music, they just sit there silently. What is going on, what are the requirements for an MP3 to be compatible in Rm2k3?

Ummm... My RM2K3 plays MP3s by default, so assume yours does to and the patch is whats screwing everything up. Then again, I could be wrong.

Yeah, you shouldn't need a patch if you have Advo's translation.

On a side note; i norder to import MP3s into RM2K3, when importing Music, you'll have to click the drop-down menu that says "MIDI" and choose "MP3".

Actually there's a translated 1.09a, but I don't think it's Advocate's.

Actually, now there is another problem.

I updated to 1.08 and have been able to play Mp3s now,

But, System MP3s won't play.

For instance, I set the battle music to an MP3 I imported, but it never plays in the battle. If I switch it to a Midi, the midi will play.

Apparently, this is the same for other categories such as the title screen, etc...

What's going on?
