Well, if I'm lucky, your brother won't distribute the game, but if he does, everybody will say "HEY! YOU STOLE THAT FROM KINGDOM OF CHAOS!!!"

Ok ok ok.

Well the first part of the game, involving the death of the partents and whatnot, looks cliche. Though the idea of all the intertwined problems appeals to me. The maps layout... well... The outside areas appear a bit too squarish. Try and use the pen more for natural things (Like cliff and foilage).

If you take time and improve your mapping skills a little, then this game could become big. Keep it up.

Then, what do you suggest?

Quote
A: depressed
B: lost without landmarks
and C: generally not care about the game because the feeling of advencherer isn't there. I mean to say, that if your maps have nothing to do in them, then all people will be doing is looking for the next teleport and that's it. They won't look around for items,
hidden passages and all that stuff that the normal RPG has.

This is the third and final time I'm going to say this. The maps are empty because I'm going to go through the entire game again and fill in people, objects and misc. But, it will not be like that in the full version. That is just my way in making in games.

Ok, first off, I said all of the mapping things in the same post, and you've gone and sized it to three posts tackleing each one sepertly. But, now you go and say "this is the final time I'm saying anything about the maps", when I only said one thing one time.

It's not like I was bashing you or nothing..... Or at least, if I did, not on purpose.

Like I said, when making things like pathways, forest tops, and cave wall locationing, use the pen. It's very useful and can end up making some pretty decent maps.
